The Challenge
This massive multiphase expansion required adding a new 10-story patient tower to an existing operational hospital. The scope involved critical departments including a 14-bed emergency department, electrophysiology lab, and oncology stroke programs. The sheer scale (194,000 sqft) and vertical complexity demanded rigorous coordination to ensure fire-life safety compliance and seamless integration with shelled spaces for future growth.
The Solution
Legacy leadership managed the full scope for Division 8 and Division 10. We coordinated the installation of 253 interior/exterior openings, including complex hollow metal frames and hardware suited for high-traffic healthcare environments. Our team managed the installation of all bathroom accessories, partitions, and fire safety cabinets, working in lockstep with Layton Construction and trade partners (MEP, drywall, framing) to meet the 6-phase completion schedule.
