The Challenge
This project was a massive multi-disciplinary undertaking involving five distinct scopes of work: Fire Alarm, General Construction, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. The challenge was executing heavy infrastructure upgrades—including core drilling concrete and rooftop unit installations—across public restrooms, corridors, and 27 guestrooms while maintaining the hotel's operational standards.
The Solution
Legacy delivered a complete turnkey solution across all trades:
1. General Construction: Full demo and rebuild of partitions, finishes, and ceilings. Included concrete cutting for MEP routing and installation of high-end millwork and vanities.
2. Electrical: Complete replacement of guestroom panels, installation of new recessed lighting, vanity power, and data lines.
3. HVAC: Installation of rooftop make-up air units, new ductwork, PTACs, and zone damper reheat units.
4. Plumbing: Installation of a new 4" copper domestic water main, cast iron drains, water heaters, and all guestroom fixtures.
5. Fire Alarm: Upgraded smoke detectors and hearing-impaired devices throughout.
